Hyle X

This is a clone of the board game “Entropy” by Eric Solomon for Android, similar to Entropy and Hyle 7. You can play alone or with friends!

Features

Single Player

You can play against the computer alone.

You can also play both roles (Chaos and Order) on the same device (perhaps with a friend nearby).

The original game requires two rounds with a role swap in between. With Hyle X, you can compete against each other in just one round by choosing a role and letting the computer play the opposing role.

Multiplayer

You can also play multiple matches against opponents who are located in a different location.

Exchanging moves between remote players happen “out-of-band”, i.e. there is no central server involved. Instead, moves etc. are shared as App Links (URLs) that you can open directly with the HyleX app. These URLs can be shared via any channel, such as messengers, emails, QR codes, etc. Therefore, the transfer itself doesn’t take place through this app.

Privacy

There is no central game server and no personalised data is collected, so all data stays in your hands. Only to open App Links from Multiplayer matches, the web server hx.jepfa.de is called to verify integrity of the App Link. This is required by Android.
